The Windows Deployment team is responsible for OEM, Consumer and
corporate deployment solutions for Windows client and server and is
developing a Deployment platform for enabling efficient, customizable
deployment of Windows. In the first wave with Windows Vista, the team
delivered Image Based Deployment (IBS). IBS based on Windows Images
(WIM) enables encapsulation for file based images of OS binaries and
their associated state. The result is all Windows installations
(consumer install, upgrade, OEM deployments and remote install) are
using and benefiting from WIMs that allow offline customization and a
unified deployment mechanism. The second wave, delivered with Windows
Server 2008, enabled multicast distribution of WIMs for large scale
deployments while minimizing network traffic.

Oracle Database Administrator

The Oracle Database Administrator is responsible for the evaluation
and implementation of new features in Oracle including functionality,
performance tuning, troubleshooting and issue resolution across
complex 10g and 9i RAC and non-RAC environments. The individual will
also be responsible for analyzing, solving and creating solutions for
challenging performance tuning situations. Other accountabilities
include all standard database administrative tasks such as: proactive
performance tuning, monitoring and profiling, trouble-shooting, back-
up and recovery, partitioning, replication, installations and
configurations on an as needed basis as well as applying patches and
upgrades. Strong knowledge of Oracle internals and the Wait interface
are required.
