If HGV drivers can do it and bikers can do it then why not motorists?
They seem to have a hatred of public protests, it the motorists who
dominate and infest this transport NG are anything to go by. Either
that or they are just too idle to bother and prefer to just whinge and
rant about prices from their comfy car seats instead.

So, you insult and deride motorists when they don't protest. Does that mean

Or, as I have already pointed out, they are well aware that, if the
government does not get income from fuel duty, it will take it some other
way. Unlike transport companies, who have a direct interest in fuel prices,
we know we will still end up paying one way or another.
