I'm thinking of factory-tuned cars only. A few that spring to mind:
Aston Martin Vantage, Jensen Interceptor, Dodge Charger
but I'm sure there must be others which are even worse. Any
contenders?

*worse*?
I'd quite happily give any of those three garage room, thankyouverymuch.
Although it does rather depend on which Vantage you're thinking of.
Anything pre-Oscar India v8? Yes. Later? No.

Something which is uneconomic gives utility back to the user which is
worth less (to him) than he pays for it.
I don't think many owners of the vehicles you describe (or Rollers, or
Maseratis or Lamborghinis or Ferraris) would agree with your thoughts
on the matter. They wouldn't swap to a Ford Ka just because it does
more mpg.

D'Oh! I wasn't intending to start a war over utility. I am just
asking which car gives the worst fuel economy. Just out of academic
interest. OK?

SFAIK, those all have fuel consumption in double figures, compared to the 7
mpg or so of the pre-war Lagonda a friend of mine owned in the 1950s.
