£2.20! I don't think SouthWest Trains would even open the train doors for
that little, let alone actually allow you to go anywhere.

Wrong, Weybridge to Addlestone £1.70 (or a 30 min walk)

You could do it First Class from Godalming to Farncombe for £2.60. Third
class for £1.50.

Mind you, you could probably walk that distance faster than the train.

Yes, but with a third class ticket you have to run behind the train.

There are only two classes of tickets on trains, First Class and Third
Class. Second Class was abolished.

What I said was correct, the fact that Dimstein doesn't want to admit it
is neither here nor there. Train tickets used to be offered on a three
class system, and were converted to a two class system not by
eliminating third class, but by eliminating second class and renaming
third class to second class which is where we remain to this day with a
two-tier service offering first class and third class tickets (renamed
by an Orwellian bureaucracy to fool the stupid.)
