Wessies though so hardly a surprise. As I've stated before, they can't
drive for shit.

Anyway, only East and North Yorks are the PPY. West and South Yorks are
industrial shitholes in decline.

Indeed, Goole and Hull are so much nicer than Ilkley, Hebden Bridge
and Otley.

Hmm, arrested in Beverley. Vehicle stolen from Leeds. Perhaps it was
chaps from East Yorkshire who'd gone to West Yorkshire on the rob?

Show me a map that says Hull is in East Yorkshire. I OTOH can show you
plenty of road signs on the way out of Hull saying Welcome to East
Yorkshire.

I've noticed that on leaving Yorkshire there are now signs saying "Welcome
to Lancashire, where everybody matters", although many of theses signs seem
to have had the last word changed to "mutters" by someone with a permanent
marker and a sense of humour.

They are, but I do get out and about a bit- Hamburg and Yorkshire last week,
Rome the week before and just to put the icing on the cake I'm going to
Aberystwyth tomorrow!

I doubt you can get much more authoritative than that.

Here's the map itself in case it wasn't clear.

Excellent. You'll notice East Yorkshire is in green whereas Hull is in
brown - the same as everything else outside the county boundary.

Thankyou for proving my point.
