Have you looked at the list of symptoms/associated diseases of
Hypermobility:
They include:
# Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
# plantar fasciitis
# Back pain, prolapsed discs or spondylolisthesis
# Increased nerve compression disorders (i.e. carpal tunnel syndrome)
# Bruising easily (See threads about his car accident).

Since Doug has all these symptoms, does Doug suffer from
Hypermobility?
I think he does, and is confused about it, which is why he tries to
project his disease onto other people.
