Have I read somewhere that there is a proposed tunnel to be built
between Spain and Morocco? If I'm right when would it be started?

I think they then looked at the number of "economic migrants" there would be
clinging to the undersides of the trains, as per the Channel Tunnel, and
thought better of it. The Spanish authorities have a hard enough problem
with drugs/people smuggling across the straits as it is.

Come on, Blair & co may have been deeply dishonest, esp re Iraq, but
they were in general competent. I think the least competent government
or recent times was the shambolic John Major administration (which is,
incidentally, the one that so very badly privatised (i.e. made an
almighty and endlessly expensive mess of) the railways.

Now you know there's enough evidence around out there to prove they
didn't "put" anyone on the moon.

You mean there isn't already a secret one straight from Africa to
Britain, judging by the number of illegal immigrants... :)

That last item is open to question, plus the USA are responsible for
that good wholesome meal called McDonalds.
