Why does that militant shit Doug have to inflict he mono views on this group
spoiling the whole thing for any casual user of an otherwise useful group. I
occasionally add this group to my list, but it only stays for half a day due
to the childish nonsense dominated by him.
Perhaps if others stopped replying to him I could then block his address and
not get all the associated replies.

I know Doug provides amusement for most of us, but is he benefitting this

It all depends on what you think the group is about. If you foolishly
think that the group is about transport in the UK (and frankly, I
can't see any reason why anyone would consider that to be the
case ...), then you are correct in what you say. If, however, you
take the view that the group is wrongly named, and should actually be
called "uk.taking-the-piss-out-of-doug-bollen", then old Gollum-
features is simply providing entertainment for the rest of us.
I must say that I subscribe to the latter view. I am a big fan of
rail (and subscribe to uk.railway), but frankly have little interest
in other forms of transport, seeing them as nothing more than means to
an end.
Perhaps the answer is to create a separate, moderated uk.transport
group, moderated only to the extent that Douglas Bollen Esq is barred
from posting to it?

Yesterday I put Doug on killfile. The killfile is something I very very
rarely use.

of pondlife that makes up the propaganda, tells the big lies, raises

When he attend demonstrations he takes a camera so that he can claim to
be "from the press" and thus avoid arrest.

arrest.
