Not really, just the usual. He does now accept that goods need to be
delivered to his local supermarket by motorists in gigantic gas-guzzling
14x2's though.
As for "I don't drive so fuel prices hardly affect me at all", he hasn't had
anything to say about that lately.

Hmmm, interesting. I wonder whether old Gollum is feeling the pinch?
And, of course, colder weather is only just round the corner, and
British Gas has just announced record price increases. I *do* hope
Doug will be able to afford to heat his house adequately this winter -
I'd hate to think of him sat there shivering ....

Of course he will. He doesn't drive, so fuel price rises hardly affect him
at all. He told us so himself.
