Police bikes are us

Having just watched the Tour of Britain go past is there a police motorbike
in any other part of the country? West Mercia, Devon and Cornwall, Thames
Valley,StrathClyde, Wales and that was just the ones that had logos on
that you could read as they went past !

Where I was watching I heard someone ask if this was a motorbike race!

Apparently the Tour used the same team of police riders for the whole event
(rather than using a local set of riders each day). Presumably slected from
around the country.
