If your eyesight is that bad, it's not surprising that you're no
longer safe to drive. TYhe bus is clearly over the line before the
lights change.

It's an advisory lane, not a mandatory one. You are aware of the
difference, I presume?

The bus driver was probably trying to ensure that there's space to his
right. Since there are no cyclists in the lane, the bus driver has
made the correct decision.
