Court jails animal rights woman

A woman who waged a five-year blackmailing campaign of animal rights
extremism against companies and individuals in the UK has been jailed.

Deborah Morrison, 35, from Dorchester, Dorset, pleaded guilty to 12 offences
which included six charges of blackmail at Stafford Crown Court last
October.

The offences involved sending threatening letters and emails. She has been
jailed for eight months.

One firm she targeted had links with Darley Oaks Farm in Newchurch, Staffs.

Darley Oaks Farm bred guinea pigs for research until January 2006.

Morrison sent dozens of emails and letters - some containing white powder -
to individuals and companies which had, or used to have, connections with
animal research organisations, Staffordshire Police said.

Brimstone indicated the thread was off topic in the subject line.

Off topic, perhaps, but still of interest to those bombarded with
propaganda by the lying scumbags who support such people.

TR: What about the scumbags in cars who cause much more harm and are
allowed to get away with it? This poor woman, persecuted by the State,
does at least care about animals and merely intimidates those
associated with animal torture while motorists kill some 2500 people
every year and maim very many more and most of such scumbags actually
eat animals, which are made to suffer and are killed for them.
