I'm suffering from an infestation and I was wondering if some kind soul
could point me in the direction of help?
I would particularly be interested in reading about the experiences of
anybody else who has been infested in any way.

If it's mice, I believe a certain Douglas Bollen has considerable
experience of dealing with such a problem. I don't think he reads
this group, but I understand that "our" Doug is a close friend of Mr
Bollen (so close, in fact, that they share a computer and a home).
Perhaps if you ask "our" Doug nicely, he will make suitable enquiries
with Mr Bollen and report back to you.
If on the other hand you are suffering from an infestation of Gollums,
I'm not sure what to suggest. You could try the killfile, but it is
rather cruel. I personally prefer DougBaiting, but it doesn't
actually get rid of the infestation - it just makes you laugh about it.

It's strange you should mention that.
We have in fact come across an infestation by a shrunken,
beshrivelled, cretinous being, with a penchant for picking his arse on
camera in the presence of children.
We can only take succour in the sure and certain knowledge that his
carbon will be "sequestrated" (as it were) in the very near future.
In the meantime all the family here are eating all the lentils we
possibly can to deny them from him because they are his sustenance.
Sorry, got visitors, better if I nip outside for a while ...

Curiously enough, I just found this on Google groups.
"I am a Vegan and I respect animals but I consider rodent infestations to
be a
serious risk to my health.
I had a major mouse infestation which lasted for some time. I sealed my
food,
blocked the holes and used humane traps to no effect. Then I tried
poison and
traditional mouse traps. One way and another...

I see what you mean, I have changed my signature.
