I don't wish to sound like some old sourpuss but this weather is
creasing me.
It's a good thing it only happens once a year I say – I like my
weather grey.

I've been doing some checking and the average 24hr temperature has gone up
over 15c in the last 6 months alone, maybe this climate change is down to us,
if things continue at this rate the UK will reach the boiling point of water
in two and a half years! Something must be done!

It's just like the seventies all over again. That was when 'they' reckoned
we were entering the new Ice-Age.
I quote from Newsweek, Science, April 28, 1975. from a pdf someone posted
sometime, somewhere on Usenet. (I've lost the original attributions,
sorry.)
"The central fact is that after three quarters of a century of
extraordinarily mild conditions, the earth's climate seems to be cooling
down." .....

I'd guess that in a few months the weather'll be back to getting colder
again, so don't worry too much.

So there is no need to stop having a nice run through the local B roads in
one of the convertibles?
