Haven't the Police got anything better to do? It reminds me of that
"dangerous chase" on video from the US where the guy was doing 5mph on
an invalid scooter.
For Christ's sake, grow up or fuck off.

" Officers have the registration of the car, which was not breaking the speed
limit, and intend to contact its owner."

So why are speed cameras now snapping cars driving within the limit?

In case they were terrorists, of course.

Well, there is a star between the cusps of the moon.

It was a mobile speed camera van, also known as a Talivan, where you'll
find someone getting fat on coffee and doughnuts while zapping vehicles
with the notoriously inaccurate LTI 20-20 laser gun (or sometimes a
Prolaser II or III).

It's all captured on video, and dibble will have seen the mooning and
whined about it to his bosses down the station.

Because it was a camera van (presumably) and they record the image onto
video tape, and overlay the details from the laser speedometer onto the
video image.

'His behaviour has been labelled as "dangerous and offensive" by road
safety campaigners'

How, was he driving?

Oh and '"Not only is it disrespectful, but distasteful and offensive,
particularly to children who may have been exposed to this nonsense'

Yeah, my four year old son would be scarred for life by seeing this.
Actually he'd have just laughed and found it funny, same as any other kid.

I don't suppose that that might have been the intention? Surely not, it's
well known just what regard the police etc are held in.
