Ah, not a scientific principle then.

Not that I admit the principle ...
But *who* gets to decide that it "might" cause ... usw.
I think we can guess.

Nonsense all human activity is deleterious to some extent (usually
trivial). The green pissers home in on that. Some human activities are
beneficial, they neglect those unless it suits their political agenda.

No, in English law he who asserts must prove.

Not the case.
I avoid eating airfreighted fruit & veg. 28 day hung fillet steak &
King Edward chips with local mushrooms for tea tonight -yum.
I live in a modern very well insulated (since 1984) house with a high
efficiency boiler, 4 other people share the house with me. I live
outside the city and therefore need far less energy intensive support
services. Like Conor, I reckon your carbon footprint is about 4x mine.

Not a source of methane. OTOH leguminous wedgibles and green wedgibles
they're the fellers for fartin'.
Scientists say you should try Beano ...

The enzyme works in the digestive tract to break down the complex or
branching sugars (polysaccharides and oligosaccharides) in foods such
as legumes (beans and peanuts) and cruciferous vegetables
(cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts, among others).
