I see what you're saying; if for arguements sake there has been an
increase in CO2 due to man of 7.5%% per year since the beginning of the
industrial revolution (which kind of puts us at the 30 billion tons we
chuck out today) then it was only about 65 years ago we overtook the CO2
output from volcanos. But in that 65 years or so we've put out the same
amount of CO2 as nearly 2000 years of vulcanism. If you go forward with
that same 7.5%% increase then in just ten years we've put out another
2000 years vulcanism equivalent. Yes; back of the fag packet maths, I know.

Dunno what that 'proves'; maybe nothing? But IME we *do* put out a
fuckload of CO2, and CO2 *is* a greenhouse gas. I agree with what has
been said elsewherethough; whether it is enough to permanantly fuck up
the climate is up for debate.
