This should reduce hypermobility, and the wanton waste of non-
renewables and its pollution, a bit.

"Millions of holidaymakers face disruption after ground staff at some
of Britain's busiest airports voted to strike - with others to be
balloted.

Baggage handlers and check-in staff at Gatwick and Stansted will walk
out for 24 hours on Bank Holiday Monday. A second strike is planned
four days later.

Staff at Manchester, Birmingham and Newcastle airports are also being
balloted on industrial action.

Unions claim the walkouts would 'totally paralyse' Ryanair and
easyJet's operations from Stansted.

They could bring to a standstill holiday airlines such as Virgin
Atlantic, Monarch, Thomsonfly, First Choice and North West.

More than 200,000 travellers are due to fly through Gatwick and
Stansted on Bank Holiday Monday.

The knock-on effect of the strikes is expected to bring delays and
cancellations through to Saturday - which would hit the travel plans
of 1.2 million..."

Several days late, as usual. Old news.

Oh, and while you are complaining about the emissions produced by air
travel, maybe you should look at your own activities and their contribution.
Air travel accounts for, what is it, about 2%% of all emissions. Were you
aware that the demand for on-line services that you use, such as newsgroups,
mean that internet data centers are responsible for about 2%% of emissions,
and growing. So, shouldn't you be campaigning for a reduction in
hyper-surfing, or whatever ridiculous phrase you may care to use?

What, like the aircraft in which your air-freighted food arrives?

At least passenger travel does not make Africans go hungry because the land
is now given over to growing export crops, largely to obtain hard currency
to supply the militia.

People die daily because of your hypocricy Doug.

Still, as they are "only black people", that doesn't really matter to you,
eh?.

Is this still true now it's been proven we've been in a period of
global cooling for the last decade?

Which of the two types of ozone would that be - the good type or the
bad type?
