nothing much, but its got a great deal to do with should manufacturers
be allowed to produce powerful vehicles for use by children, think
about it.

What's to think about? How about the parent teaching the child to use it
properly?

Only in the Nanny State UK coud someone think of such a question.

Exactly. Like Lewis Hamiliton.
>Only in the Nanny State UK coud someone think of such a question.

I doubt it but they certainly have here. The reporting was speaking of
these powerful vehicles avaiable to children, hence my reference to
Lewis Hamilton. Get it now?

It was your comment, "should manufacturers be allowed to produce powerful
vehicles for use by children" that provoked my reaction.

Come back and try again when you've learned punctuation.

It seems, these days, that we're expected to not let our children do
anything at all, and then somehow flick a switch that turns them into
rounded responsible adults on their 18th birthdays. That won't work.

I was thinking out loud if you like, and reporting what Brake think,
which superficially sounds sensible.

But there *are* two sides to it. If we believe children are not yet
able to decide what risks they should take, how can we let
them/encourage make a decision to take part in dangerous sports? (I
dont know how much danger there is in junior karting?).

And of course that whatever we say about responsible use blah blah,
many, many of these type of machines are in practice used
irresponsibly.

Good punctuation is the most important aid to comprehension.

Why can't we have reasonable grammer here (allowing for the fact that we all
have "off" days)?
