Great! Since motorists have literally driven children from our streets
the kids are now invited to share car parks instead.

"Health chiefs are under fire today after recommending that children
should play in office car parks - in the wake of the closure of
hundreds of school playing fields.

In addition to getting children to walk, cycle and swim more, the
Government's health advisory body wants to open up more space for them
to play in.

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (Nice)
handed out the advice as part of new draft guidelines for promoting
children's health by making sure they get more exercise.

But the car parks proposal will be seen as misfire, coming as it does
after the mass sell-off of more than 300 school playing fields last
year alone..."
