To be fair, the left turn from Proctor Street (southbound) to High
Holborn (eastbound) has a ridiculously short green phase - one of the
worst in London. That is particularly galling when one considers that
there is no possible conflict with other vehicular movements due to the
layout of the one way system. It is a typical Livingstone "F*** drivers"
junction. Let's hope that it is on Boris's hit-list for improving
traffic flow.
