Is your car manufacturer a dealer of death?

A report on the DSEI Arms Fair in London mentions car manufacturers
who also deal in the deaths of innocents, namely Saab, Rolls-Royce and
Land Rover but I am sure there must be more. So what about your car?

Doug (jagmad@riseup.net) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were
saying :

Translating that, with the emotive bullshit removed,
you mean "also supply military equipment"?
> namely Saab,

Presumably meaning the fighter planes? Small problem - they're two
completely separate companies, and have been for years. Saab's part of GM.
> Rolls-Royce

Presumably meaning the jet engines? Small problem - they're two completely
separate companies, and have been for years. R-R's part of BMW.
> and Land Rover

Part of Ford. Anyway, didn't you used to own a Land-Rover, Duhg?
> but I am sure there must be more. So what about your car?

I've got a Saab - from when Saab aeroplanes and Saab-Scania vehicles were
the same company - and Citroens - part of PSA, whose Panhard division
produces military vehicles.

I guess that makes me a war-monger, huh?

The company I work for contracts on defence projects around the world,
so whether my car manufacturer does the same is of little concern.

I seem to recall many many aid agencies, relief organisations and charities
use them, too.

Damn those do-gooders using weapons of mass destruction to bring food
and essential medical aid to the Third World.
