No, I was a bit out with the dates. It didn't become a haulage yard until
the mid-fifties. It took me a while to find out because 3 out of 4
grandparents are now dead, and the other one is a little loopy :-) I checked
with my dad who was born nearby, and it was in fact a pen for goats and
chickens until 1952, when it was bought by a local haulage company (Rileys)
and has been like that ever since. BB4 9LQ on google maps has it in the
centre of the picture.
