Unicode and Hugs

Hello I'm trying to read a file in using readFile in Hugs to perform some functions on it and it works fine with the standard Windows Latin subset but when I try to read in a Unicode file I get errors. In the manual it says that Unicode is supported for Strings and Comments so I'm not sure why it's not working. Thanks for any help Robin
