Well its better than just sitting on their arses, like some here I
could name, and voting once in a while.
"Angry residents who are desperate to stop Heathrow expansion are set
to take part in special training classes to learn militant techniques,
including climbing walls and chaining themselves to fences.
Protesters have begun plans to disrupt the contentious project if the
Government gives it the go-ahead later this year, with the training
weekends due to begin in September.
A wide range of opponents, including residents and activists, decided
at a climate camp conference on Saturday that they were prepared to

Why does it get you so upset that people on this group refuse to
support threating nurseries and smashing the windows of old ladies?
( both tactics you've defended in the past) Just because we all thing
that violence isn't the only method of protesting doesn't mean we do
nothing.
Are you every going to step up to trying the violence yourself or will
you be happier being on the sidelines with a camera, ready to leg it
if the police come along?

They can't be that intelligent either if they need to go to a class to be
taught to climb a wall or fix a chain to a fence. Must be your mates then.
What the hell is a "militant technique" anyway?

Well then if the plans are known about now, they should be stopped.

Its not that the motorists who dominate this newsgroup pretend to
dislike violence, while their mates in cars kill about 2000 people
every year, but that they take every opportunity to slag off just
about every other kind of campaigner, apart from their mates who ...
