Just seen on ITV news.
Motorists who dominate this transport newsgroup expressed disgust when
animal rights activists dug up a single dead body in a graveyard but
this is nothing compared to the plan to put a road through a graveyard
to assist Heathrow expansion and where many loved ones will be dug up.
Justify?

Simple.
The graveyard isn't being dug up solely to kidnap a known corpse in order
to try to blackmail somebody running a perfectly legitimate business.
The remains from the graveyard will be relocated - as with any other
graveyard which is relocated - with dignity, in known locations.
If you REALLY can't spot a difference between the two, your moral compass
is even more fucked than we suspected.

I doubt that you saw any such thing on TV, since the claim is a
ludicrous invention made by you.

Ah yes, and the bodies in question will be dug up by a flying squad of
the unwashed who will then blackmail the relatives of the deceased in an
attempt to force the relatives to give up their employment, will they?
No, I thought not.

Excellent, Doug. I will add this to the wikipedia entry on you:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet_personalities
I have already added a bit on your justification for digging up bodies
in the pursuit of ART activities, but this just gets better and
better. Keep 'em coming, Gollum!

Well lets see
The remains will be dug up with respect
They will be relocated in a graveyard in a location which is know.
The operation will be legal.
There will be no criminal intent.
The operation will be conducted in a proper manner.

I've not seen this mentioned elsewhere so I'll treat it with scepticism ,
but can you not see a difference between a proper organised , legal and
respectful exhumation of human remains followed by their careful re-burial,
and a bunch of bath dodging criminals stealing a corpse and taunting the
relatives?

So what -ists should dominate a transport forum?
Horse-ists? Bicycle-ists? What method of transport
is politically correct in the Doug view of the universe?
If it mustn't have a 'motor', then what must it be?
A sailing ship, perhaps? Difficult to transport
stuff to Reading on a sailing ship, I postulate.
Or do the Dougs of this world propose that there
should be no transport at all?
But I'll bite. Let's try a year or so with the
abolition of all forms of self-motivating transport,
and see if we like it. Wind power rules, OK?
