Good riddance, cheap air travel ...I won’t get dengue fever in Devon.

This is the sort of article I enjoy reading.

"As of Tuesday, British Airways’ long-haul passengers will have to pay
£218 on top of the ticket price to cover the cost of fuel. This is the
second price hike from BA in a month. Last Friday, Virgin Atlantic
announced it, too, would be imposing new charges.

Ferry companies have admitted they will be asking passengers to pay a
fuel surcharge for the first time this year, while Silverjet, the
business class-only airline (which I loved – it had women-only loos on
its planes) flew out of Luton for what was probably the last time on
Friday.

As of Tuesday, British Airways' long-haul passengers will have to pay
£218 on top of the ticket price to cover the cost of fuel

More and more operators are adding package holiday surcharges. ‘Prices
from £13.99!’ screams the easyJet website, whereas, in fact, even no-
frills flying has now priced itself out of reach of the average
family.

So you enjoy gloating over other people's troubles and then wonder why
decent people find you repulsive?

You really are sick.

Decent people on this NG? That's a laugh!

How is someone who has finally realised the folly of their past stupid
hypermobility their 'troubles'? It looks more like enlightenment and a
solution to their troubles to me.

BTW, can I take it from your response that you are all in favour of
cheap travel abroad?

You're the only one who delights in highlighting other people's problems and
tragedies whilst telling lies and deceiving people.

What about motorists here who delight in highlighting the problems of
PT travellers and those deaths caused?

I don't recall anything of this nature. People talk about the real
problems with PT - overcrowding - unreliability - high cost - low
comfort etc. etc.
