Yes Adrain. If they can in any way dream up an excuse to blame the
victim they will. 'Maybe the wall was situated in the wrong place and
the driver did at least manage not to hit the girl'.

Then you're a fuckwit who doesn't actually bother reading posts.

Then you're a fuckwit. If there's "very little accountability", why did
the driver and his passenger try to escape the scene? Perhaps because
they knew damn well they were going to have some serious legal
accountability heading their way.

Odd that nobody has, don't you think? With a single exception, which
was quickly shouted down, the response on here has been "throw the
book at the driver for driving whilst pissed, and throw it at him
again for running away". So that's another little Duhg theory that
bites the dust.

You've just said that you think its just and fair for someone to crash
into the house of a motorists, nearly killing one of their kin.
Did you really mean to say that? Are your views really that warped?
I hope not; please issue a correction. Just don't mutter about me
twisting your words as the above is very clear and fully quoted.

Not the way I saw it, however don't let your lack of english
comprehension get in the way of a good rant.

You are as guilty as he is of interpreting things to suit your agenda.

OK, let's have a look, shall we? You said "Aah! The fight or flee
reflex, are you suggesting he gets extra
punishment because his survival instinct took over whilst he was
pissed?
Not saying he shouldn't get shit on anyway for DiC."

I didn't say you did. I said that most of us thought he should be
doubly punished. You think he should be punished only for the drink
driving and not for running away.

Where did you get the information that the drunk driver was a company
director? The person whose house the drunk driver ran into, the father
of the little girl, was a company director for Threshers. I've seen no
comment on the identity or the occupation of the driver yet.
I can find only one report on the incident, repeated with variations but
essentially the same report on several websites. I'd suggest that if
you're going to get on your high horse about "joined up thinking" and
"high horses" and "lack of English comprehension" then at least you
check your facts carefully.

He did both of those.
