Union Station is a great place and an example of what Sydney's Central could

Re the USA; There has been significant comment in "Trains" mag over
the last few months where over-zealous cops and security guards have
claimed that people taking photos of trains and railway infrastructure
from public areas (not trespassing) were breaking the law. In every
case quoted, further investigation by the journos found that it was
not illegal. Some of the law enforcement agencies quoted were the
Chicago RTA and Union Pacific Railroad.
