That's odd cos someone in car sales on an owners forum has said that
4x4 are getting to be hard to shift.
"Im not suprised you got a good deal I expect everyone and their dog
is trying to get out of 4x4's. Fvcking worst news in the world at the
moment. We actually fight over who has to go and tell the customer how
much their x-trail/l200/disco has dropped in value."
Same thread (someone wanting advice about becoming car salesman) said
all "2nd morgage stuff" was flat and dead in March and he would be
best off in cheap higher volume sales (PSA/Renault/GM).
But in quality brand sales there have been some perks.
"I have customers that have invited me to weddings, motor racing
events, bought me flying lessons its mad how you get to know people so
well "
On low volume/high price cars saleman can afford to take a whole day
selling that car.
