I started a thread early this morning on the subject but it seems not
to have arrived. To paraphrase, I pointed out how delighted the
motorists who dominate this transport newsgroup and who hate cyclists
will be to read the news and I wondered how they would apportion
blame. Had it been a car then of course the vulnerable ped victim
would be blamed for getting in the way of the car but as it was a
cyclist hitting a ped then the cyclist will almost certainly be ...
