Motorists moderating their own behaviour? Wonders will never cease!
Who knows, they might even start leaving their cars at home?
"Congestion on Britain's motorways and major trunk roads has reduced
because of fears over the credit crunch, a survey suggests.
Traffic jams were down by 12%% in the first six months of this year,
compared with the January-June 2007 period.
Navigation specialist Trafficmaster said rising fuel prices and
general money worries were making people think more carefully about
their driving.
This had led to fewer journeys and drivers going slower to cut fuel
bills.
The average motorway speed also went down from 63.3mph for the year
ending June 2007 to 62.2mph over the 12-month period ending June 2008.
However, although motorists have taken 0.3%% off their journey times
over the same year-long period, journey times have risen by 2.6%% since
2005...."

So obviously you don't care about people losing their jobs, their homes, and
the stress and ill-health that brings with it.

As ever, your compulsive-obsessive disorder takes no account of the effect
on people's lifes, you only interest is that might be a minor reduction in
the number of cars on the road.
Your lack of compassion for people losing their livelihoods and homes knows
no bounds does it Doug?
You truly are a loathsome specimen.
