The usual pandering to motorists. Its simple, if they can't afford to
drive they shouldn't drive.

Is that why you don't drive any more Doug, because you can't afford to?

No I think they took his licence for being a blithering idiot and dangerous.

Quite right Doug. Keep the poor down trodden and lets go back to the
old days when only the rich got to do anything.

Whoever said you were a socialist never saw this aristocratic
supporting side of you.

Will you be heading out now to protest about your masters being unable
to hunt foxes or shoot servants anymore?

Bad back. Though oddly, despite admitting it a while back he now
denies it.

I've got news for you, Duhg. I agree.

If people can't afford to drive legally, they shouldn't drive. The same
with anything else. Can't afford it? Work harder so you can, cut
expenditure elsewhere or accept you'll never own it and get on with life.

The difference, of course, is that I'm happy for the vast majority to be
able to realistically aspire to all the good that being able to afford to
use personal transport provides them, whilst you won't be happy until
nobody can afford to drive, will you?
