Still having a reading problem, Filth? Your source says:

"International food prices have levelled since they hit a record high
in March, according to estimates by the United Nations Food and
Agriculture Organisation. Food prices are still 44 per cent higher
than a year ago."

Also it doesn't say how much of those crops is going to biofuel
production for motorists like yourself, instead of into the mouths of
the starving.

Lets be blunt about this. One of the reasons there are so many
starving in the 3rd world is they have so many kids. Yes its an old
chestnut but its true. If this generation didn't starve then they'd
all have 5 kids and 1 generation down the line when those kids grow up
and have another 5 children there wouldn't be enough food for the new
population level and the whole process would repeat. Until certain
continents bring in birth control policies then it'll never go away
and no amount of bleeding heart think-of-the-children waffle will
change that.

that food prices have risen and then goes on to state the reasons are
different from the claim you keep making that biofuels are causing the
food rises ( by themselves if you listen to your biased ranting)

The EU and Americans have a lot to answer for in this regard. For
decades they've been attempting to eliminate disease, child mortality
etc. etc. so people live longer and more of them as well, but especially
from the Americans, no concept of birth control whatsoever.

That sums up all religion. Don't know about the evangelicals but the
plain old catholic church has to shoulder a lot of the blame with its
anti-condom policies in africa. Which not only contribute to the high
rate of child birth (with the associated issues for the women) and
hence population, but that policy is directly responsible for the
continuing AIDS epidemic.

I think that was their intention.

The evangelicals are the people who poo-poo evolution, oppose any birth
control and any abortion, and think we shared the earth with Dinosaurs.
Not to mention AIDs.

Not just them unfortunately - most religious christians (except maybe
CoE) , muslims and jews - ie anyone who believes the old testament is
a historical text - would share those views. Not that I think it
matters much - if idiots want to believe in an invisible bearded bloke
in the sky who made everything in 6 days and plopped 2 humans in a
magic garden who's offspring then engaged in incest thats up to them,
just so long as they don't prevent teaching evolution in schools or
try and prevent any scientific research on the subject.
