How the fuck can someone describing something as a 'Star Trek-style ion
engine' call himself a science correspondent?

Then it gets worse expressing the engine thrust in units of weight of
fractional kiwi fruits.

Don't think he knows the difference between brake and break either although
in the context used neither make much sense.
