I don't mind speed cameras either. They only trigger if you exceed the
speed limit. Far more dangerous to society are the surveillance and
ANPR cameras and the loss of the right to go about your business
without being bothered by plod except on reasonable suspicion.

With CCTV and road blocks and mass searches at stations anyone saying
we don't have a police state is a fool.

I think you lost them when you posted about riding in the rain.....

Do not, under any circumstances, go to a UKRM "meet". It's like a middle
managers convention for Dr Who geeks filming a "Mr Muscle" advert. Ah yes,
you'd get the impression from this newsgroup that they're all true bikers,
heading to the meets at 340mph and knocking over a few lollipop ladies. In
reality, most of them are meek and mild boring fairweather numpties on
scooters with nothing to say.

Apologies to the one or two who are actually decent fellas, they know who
they are.

WRONG!

And you're a holier-than-thou motorcyclist with less than perfect
experience?

No, but you are an illiterate fuckpuddle who
has declined to respond to what I take to be
well-aimed comments about your own
conduct and replied instead to a reply to
an entirely different poster.
