"Visitors to the shanty towns of Haiti, the poorest country in the
Western hemisphere, will find something unusual in the markets. It's a
dry, yellow, round food product, about the size of a digestive
biscuit.
They're mud cakes, made from clay, salt, oil and water. Eat one, and
you'll keep hunger at bay for a few hours..."
"...Another reason prices are high is because of the boom in
'biofuels'. In 2006, the American government spent $12billion
(£6billion) to turn maize into ethanol, which was mixed with petrol
and sold as 'flexible fuel'..."

What does this have to do with transport in the UK? There are tens of

Whereas in the real world clay has been part of native American
cooking for thousands of years just as adding ground up stones (*) has
been part of ours.
IGWS Lugless (Let them eat lentils) Duhgless knows better than they do
about what they should eat.

You just don't get it do you, or don't want to. Your use of biofuels
in your car is contributing to a hike in food prices worldwide, thus
causing even more starvation.

You just don't get it either. Since when did anyone filling anything up
with petrol in the UK have any choice in the matter. This is an EU
thing, not an individual choice. Even F1 cars use 5%% biofuel.

No, it's not. Proof of this has already been posted.
