not a very fair example is it ? how much would one of the rail
companys cost to do it?

Well, there's nothing easier to transport than people, which self-load, self
unload and even automatically perform complicated transhipments so I'm
guessing the answer would be "a lot more"

In fact I imagine that if it was cheaper, Princes would have discovered that
already.

I doubt there will be much enthusiasm if the only method you are
offering to get from A to B is sharing the back of an articulated lorry
with 185 (27.85 tonnes) of other people.

That's exactly what I have been saying for years.

Splendid idea. I look forward to travelling from Leeds to London on
business on the back of your HGV.

Road passengers travel on PSVs Brian- coaches. So you wouldn't be in a lorry
trailer.

It seems that coaches are cheaper to travel on than trains too.
