Apologies. I caused a traffic jam today.

Apologies to anyone who got caught up in it, we counted at least two vans
and four cars, so if you were held up I sincerely apologise.

Doug, here's a picture of 'real' traffic chaos

PS, it's not my Shogun, I have a Landrover. (Inverted snobbery, maybe) .

I had to phone the police last year to tell them that there was a
flock of sheep in the carpark outside mywork.
Took them a while before they accepted it wasn't a windup... Some
dozy rambler had left a shut gate open...

I pass a couple of dairy farms on the way home; on occassion I've
passed by as they've been moving cows over the NSL road. One farm has
a set of traffic lights and the other just has a couple of people on
either side in Hi visiblity jackets flagging down traffic.

On the whole it works well but one time after I'd stopped and the guy
behind me had stopped the farm hand wandered around the bend to help
move the cows. Some berk approaching from behind saw me and another
car stopped just at the start of a bend and decided on the most
suicidal overtake i've ever seen. He was about level with the car
behind me when he saw the heard of cows and he ended up inches from
the side of one. The cows just kept wandering on without so much as a
second look.

Completely unnecessary if everyone was vegan, as would be the terrible
Foot and Mouth toll (had to have an excuse to get that one in. ;-)
