An ominous warning that the rapid rise in oil prices has only just begun

This should reduce their hypermobility a bit. Note the reference to
'the world's faltering supply', for those here who continue to insist
there is an abundance of oil.

"The chief executive of the world's largest energy company has issued
the most dire warning yet about the soaring the price of oil,
predicting that it will hit $250 per barrel "in the foreseeable
future".

The forecast from Alexey Miller, the head of the Kremlin-owned gas
giant Gazprom, would herald the arrival of £2-per-litre petrol and
send shockwaves through the economy. His comments were the most stark
to be expressed by an industry executive and come just days after the
oil price registered its largest-ever single-day spike, hitting
$139.12 per barrel last week amid fears that the world's faltering
supply will be unable to keep up with demand..."

You are an arse, aren't you? Can't you tell self-promotion and bigging it up
when you see it? He only has self-interest in mind saying this, and is
hardly an independent source.

Newspaper reporters are no better at understanding source documents than you
are.

Translation: The head of a major earner for a country with a depressed
economy says we want to put our prices up a lot.

Gosh, thanks for that, Gollum. Tomorrow, exclusively from Doug - the
head of Ford predicts that they will sell more motor vehicles "in the
foreseeable future". And the Pope predicts that he will still be
Catholic "in the foreseeable future".

I don't know what we'd do without Doug "the oracle" Bollen.

and If we don't buy it as its too expensive they'll reduce the price - If
we still buy it then it was probably undervalued in the first place!

mind you demand for fuel is down 20%% - strictly opposite to what all the
"experts" here have been forecasting

Its known as supply and demand
