I forgot to point out that cars are not 'green' or 'greener', that is
just plain greenwash. More accurately cars are 'more or less filthy'.
4x4s tend to be more filthy.

While 4x4s may not be the ideal vehicle for urban areas in some cases, can
you cite proof that they are more filthy than other vehicles. Other vehicles
send out more pollution than the average 4x4.
