Four races - four different championship leaders:
Turkey Räikkönen 35
Monaco Hamilton 38
Canada Kubica 42
France Massa 48
Never happened before.
In fact, four different leaders in a season is quite rare.
1956 Jean Behra, Peter Collins, Stirling Moss, Juan Manuel Fangio
1974 Denny Hulme, Clay Regazzoni, Emerson Fittipaldi, Niki Lauda
1979 Jacques Laffite, Gilles Villeneuve, Patrick Depailler, Jody Scheckter
1982 Alain Prost, John Watson, Didier Pironi, Keke Rosberg
1986 Nelson Piquet, Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell
1987 Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell, Ayrton Senna, Nelson Piquet
2008 Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Räikkönen, Robert Kubica, Felipe Massa
Felipe is the first Brazilian to lead since Ayrton led after six races of
the 1993 season.

I thought that I'd group all the statistics together in one thread as I
did for the Monte Carlo & Montreal events.

Why I detest democracy, why I gave Labour £1m - and what my wife said
when I asked for a mistress, by Bernie Ecclestone

Bernie Ecclestone does not look amused with my opening gambit. "So,
tell me, are you a hobbit?" The chief of Formula One - and Britain's
tenth richest man - Ecclestone has recently been attacked by residents
of the Swiss ski resort of Gstaad after he raised the price of drinks
in the town's Olden Hotel, which he owns.
The local newspaper compared him to the 18,000-year-old Indonesian
hobbit found by anthropologists in 2004.
To be fair, he is very short: just 5ft 3in. He has other hobbit-like
features; a round face, slightly pointed ears and shaggy hair. He is
sitting in an eye-achingly red chair in his Kensington office and is
wearing trousers that resemble long-johns.
"Well," I persist. "Are you descended from an 18,000-year-old hobbit?"

BERNIE Ecclestone, president and chief executive of Formula One motor
racing, has said he is concerned that Jewish investors in the sport
are unhappy with Max Mosley’s continuing involvement in its regulating
body.
This week, Mr Ecclestone, 77, said: “I’m sure that some of the people
on the boards of large companies who invest in Formula One are Jewish,
and that they might be unhappy with the allegations about Max.
“They might decide they don’t want to be involved with Formula One any
more because of it. I completely appreciate why people felt offended
by the allegations about Max.”
Mosely is being rounded on by a pack of jews determined to end his
career only because he is the son of Sir Oswald Mosley, leader of the
British Union of Fascists in the 1930s, and of Diana Mitford, a well-
known Hitlerphile. His parents were married at a secret ceremony in
the Berlin home of Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels, at which
Adolf Hitler was a guest of honour.

hi Guys,
I have created a desktop application for motorsport news. You can find it at
www.motorsport.zebtab.com, its a .net 2.0 web deployed app and aggregates a
variety of motorsport news feeds (there are pictures and video as well form
daily motion, crash.net, formula1 and other sources).
It does have a dedicated formula1 section top left (hence the posting here).
Its free, no strings attached and doesn't even have any registration. Please
give it a try and give feedback to support at zebtab dot com
Regards Julian
