Ok, but I want to know if there are other meanings of the word "shot" which
I can't find in an english-danish dictonary.
Or is it, grammatic, wrong use of the word?

I am danish, not to strong in the english language.

But I have a discusion running with a friend about the term "he shot a 68".

Can you shoot a golfball?
Is it correct to say "he shot af 68" ?
If yes, how is the word "shot" to be understand in that term?
