Robson, McGeady, Cueller and McDonald.
Who do you think should win it? Am I correct in saying the players have all
cast their votes already and these are the 4 people that got the most votes,
so the winner has already been decided? When did the players actually cast
their vote for this? I think they always decide these things too soon when
the season still has a bit to go.
Remember the World Cup in 2002 when Kahn won player of the tournament before
the final then made a mistake in the final when Ronaldo (the real player of
the tournament) scored twice. In 98 Ronaldo won the award and then had a
poor final.
Back to Scotland - Robson surely won't win it for half a season at United?
If that is the case then Hutton should have won it for his half season at
Rangers. McGeady - excellent at times but has he been consistent enough? Is
it fair to expect wingers to be consistent? It's a lot harder for skilful
players to be consistent than for a defender. Cueller - good season but am I
alone in thinking he is being talked up too much? He has been caught out at
times. McDonald - he's scored the goals but seems to have gone off the boil
a bit lately.
