Match stats

FFS, check these stats out:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/c/celtic/live_text/4785137.stm

Celtic 62%% Rangers 38%%

Kind of worrying that we dominated so much and only scraped a (deserved) 2-1
win right at the end.

Heard that Ferguson refused to shake McManus's hand at the end, I wonder if
there will be as much of a media frenzy about this as the similar Boruc
incident last year?

Doubt it very much.

Ferguson looked as if he was too busy looking for a fight at the end
to worry about shaking hands...I'm surprised he never went and got his
track suit...I wonder if he's suspended too...man the huns will have
nae players for the rematch a week on Saturday.... ;)

I wonder if Samaras or McDonald's dives will get as much media frenzy as
Thomson's did?

Also, according to the paper this morning, it was a spat between McGeady and
Novo that kicked off the fight at the end.

I thought a 3-0 would have been a truer reflection on the game but I'll take
the 2-1. Rangers in the 1st half were probably about the most defensive
side I've seen at CP this season.

They showed it on Setanta afterwards, it was Ferguson and McManus that
started it. Then Caldwell and Weir jumped in. Not sure why Weir got a red,
it looked like it was Caldwell that threw the punch.

Also, why was Robson not sent off for his elbow on Dailly in the first
minute?

As you noted, McDonald and Samaras also both took dives during the game. I
liked Papac running away with a casual wave of the hand to McDonald to get
up after his dive.
