First up, it was a great season from a neutral point of view. WS did a great
job in making Rangers competitive all the way through the season considering
the mess he inherited. It kind of proved that the Rangers team were not as
bad as was made out, they just needed to pull together. A few decent
signings and some restored self-confidence together with playing to Rangers'
strengths all combined to bring about significant improvement. Ironically
though, I believe WS was outdone by his one-dimensional approach. In the
last few games when goals were needed, he was not able to change his system
to get the required results.
Contrast this with WGS. Close to the end of the season, home defeat to
Motherwell and the league was done as far as I was concerned, we were dead &
buried. I thought it was time for the wee man to move on, he had done an
excellent job but seemed to have lost the dressing room. However, it was a
master stroke to bring back Lennon to help with team spirit. WGS himself
showed great strength of character, never giving up and changing a system
which wasnt working to drop his big money signings to find a combination
that worked. You cant argue with 7 straight wins under pressure.

Think theres a core there but still think theres some players id rather say
goodbye to.Hinkel im not that impressed with,Samaras i didnt want and still
to be convinced he is something special, and sadly i think the time has come
for Naylor to be off. Many think JVoH should be off but im not sure, maybe
another season.
