Very good game, shame about the outcome.Barca as we thought might be to
strong but we did well against that kind of class . First half we gave them
a shock but they ran us ragged second half with some superb stuff.Bit of a
shame the way the ball went for the third goal but sometimes those are the
breaks. But the right team won on the night.
Still fucking gutted though! ;-)

Masterclass.. if we're gonna get put out.. its no embarrasment getting
nodded out by this lot..
Naka.. immitating lord lucan for a good part of this game (even when we HAD
the ball)
Samaras.. i hope thats his one and only dive I ever see him do in a celtic
strip.. made me blush that did.

Naka actually i thought had his moments but didnt get the chances from set
plays he needs.Samaras i still think is not the kind of player we need.He
looks as though hes about to fall over all the time when he has the ball. The
foul i would say he had a case if he went down outside the box where there
was contact but when i saw him finally go down i just shouted at the tv
"what the fuck are you doing!" . Was never going to be a penalty and like
you said i dont like seeing people doing that kind of thing.

I'm amazed we scored two goals! But I'm really disappointed with the
performance from alot of players. I though Barca were unplayable in
parts. And when they can bring on Xavi and Eto as subs, there squad is
scary. I thought the two goals flattered us given how bad we played.
No ability to retain possession. Little pressing of the ball. Barca
combined skill, workrate and physical presence. I'm kinda
philosophical since Barca are cleary a magic side but I thought we
could have contributed more in terms of basic football. Our midfield
didn't look interested for example. But maybe that's just all due to
Barca's class.

Question for discussion following this game... Celtic obviously went for it
tonight, going for the win playing 2 strikers. I only saw the 2nd half and
Celtic were being given the run around and looked tired, but I take it first
half they were doing better.
But question is, to fans of both halves of the Old Firm, if you had to play
Barcelona (at home) again, would you go for it like Celtic did, or go
defensive like Rangers did when we drew 0-0 with them?
When I heard Celtic were winning I was thinking well done to them for going
for it, wish Rangers had done that, but at the end of the day they got a
worse result. However, I was a bit embarrassed that Rangers actually
celebrated a 0-0 draw at home. We shouldn't celebrate a 0-0 draw at home
against anyone (unless that's all we need to win something).
Opinions?
