Its main/sole purpose was to wind up Rangers fans and it has been an
outright success. For something which isn't meant to have any relevance in
football a lot of people would rather talk about that instead of football.

Yes, he's an arsehole.
Boruc and Bob Malcolm - two wee boys with half a wit between them, both
using the Pope in different ways to appeal to the lowest common denominators
in their respective supports. The only difference is that Bob Malcolm played
for a club that fined him heavily when he abused the Pope, whereas Boruc
plays for a club that positively encourages him to misuse the Pope for his
own ends.
