Well the strachan thing we can only guess because we will never know. But i
disagree about the rest,it is probably the best night to go out (I mean the
night of the day you played) because its the furthest time from the next
game. Its obvious Strachan gives permission to the players so im guessing its
the same with the staff . People let off steam in different ways,go home and
chat with family, relax in front of tv,go to friends house or go out and let
off steam.Lennon has every right like the rest of us to go out when he likes
so long as it does not affect his job, which it didnt.Im not disappointed in
the least over Lennon from the reports of what happened.Had he been blind
drunk shouting "You orange bastards" to a group of rangers supporters then
id say drag him over the coals but from the reports that was not the
case. The only disappointing thing for me is the fact this crap is still
going on in this day and age.

I dont disagree and to be honest id love 11 Lennons on the pitch playing for
the club they love rather than ones looking for a good pension etc . But
Rangers have had plenty of players that enjoyed similar traits . Look at the
Hately type era at some players back then.Terry Butcher for one but how many
times has he been attacked on nights out? My point was really the fact that
when posts were made saying why Lennon was picked on while he was a player
most said it had fuck all to do with his Religion or where he was from , and
as you say many did dislike him for his play and now he has stopped playing
have left it there (Majority gladly of Rangers fans posting here i would say
disliked him for the way he played) but we are going to see more attacks no
doubt on him purely for him being an NI Catholic and that really is going to
just drag us back further. But like i say i just wish i had the be all answer
as to how to stop it all . Maybe now the Maze has shut we should ship the
extreme element from all scottish clubs over then open up the segregation
gates and let them all kill each other!Doubt many would shed a tear.
