This is getting weirder - after solving the problem by uninstalling in
Device Manager and re-scanning for hardware, I restarted my PC (I've not
un-restored it, I've left it at the restore point I used above) - lo and
behold, "No Audio Device". Seems I have to do the Device Manager thing
every time to get it working again.

I have Vista on my 2nd drive, and sound in that is perfect.

On another note anyone know where to get a good DVI-connected 19" LCD
monitor (not widescreen) at a good price?
